CHIP Collect – Link: Sell on Social Media with Payment Links

Payment links can be used to sell products and services, secure bookings or collect donations. It is the easiest and quickest way to collect payments online without a website.  

Social media has become an increasingly popular an effective tool used to engage with prospects and generate sales.   

To boost sales through social media channels, you can now generate a payment link to convert hot leads into customers in a few simple steps.  

Link is a payment feature within the CHIP Collect module that requires no coding, no e-commerce website, and no hassle. Payment links can be shared to customers in the form of a link or QR code through:

  1. Email
  2. Text message 
  3. Social media 
  4. Website  
  5. Marketing materials

First, create a Product

  1. Log into your CHIP merchant Portal here
  2. Go to Products then click Add Product
  3. Key in Name, Description and Price of the product. 
  4. Add an image in PNG, JPG, JPEG or WebP format. 
  5. Click Create Product.

Next, create a payment link. 

  1. Go to Links then click Add Payment Link
  2. Select Brand and Type
  3. Key in Payment Link Name
  4. Select Product(s).
    – Allowing customers to purchase specific products by allowing them to select 0 quantity  
  5. Under Options, select the input fields for customers to fill up. Email address is required by default. 
  6. Under Advance Settings,  
    – fill up custom URL, if required. 
    – select the call-to-action button: Pay, Book or Donate  
    – add custom fields, if required, in text, numbers or dropdown format. 
  7. Key in redirect custom URL to redirect customers to a webpage or thank you page after successful payment, if required. 
  8. Click on Create Link

Now you can share your payment link to customers or publish on social media. 😊

Additional notes: 

  • Payment links can be copied, activated, deactivated, edited and converted into QR codes. 
  • You can convert the payment link into a QR code or share it via Twitter or Facebook.
