Perfex is a versatile Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, ideal for small businesses, freelancers, and various other users.
For businesses, Perfex offers invoicing features that facilitate seamless payments. This integration enables automatic reconciliation, ensuring that invoices are updated instantly upon payment.
To achieve this, you can integrate your Perfex CRM with the CHIP for Perfex CRM module.
In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of setting up CHIP Collect for your Perfex CRM.
Prerequisites
- Perfex CRM version 3.1.5 or later.
Step 1: Installing & activating the CHIP for Perfex CRM
Note: There are two main steps for integration: 1. Installing and activating the CHIP for Perfex CRM module 2. Setting up CHIP Collect credentials: Secret Key & Brand ID
- Access https://github.com/CHIPAsia/CHIP-for-Perfex-CRM/releases.
- Choose the latest available version and download the
chip.zipasset file. In this tutorial, we are using version 1.0.0, so downloadchip.zipfor version 1.0.0.1.
- Upload the module to the Perfex CRM Modules installation page and activate the module.
Step 2: Setting up CHIP Collect credentials
- After activation, click on the Settings link.
- Enter your Secret Key and Brand ID in the respective fields.
- Click the Save Settings button.
- All set! Now, let’s perform a test to ensure everything is working correctly.
Testing the integration
It is crucial to test the integration to ensure it has been done properly. Follow these steps to perform the test:
- Create an invoice within Perfex CRM.
- View the invoice and choose to pay with CHIP.
- Since this is a simulation, proceed with a successful payment.
- Upon successful payment, the invoice status will be updated to “Paid.”
- Your integration is now successfully tested and operational!
